The
Ladies' Parlor
At Events
Some of you have never had a chance to get to an event that the Parlor
was at. Therefore, I put together some photos of the inside of the
Parlor Tent for you to see. There are lots of things to choose from
at an event that I don't have listed on the web site. Hope you can
visit the Parlor Tent soon.

Just in case you have a fear of the Parlor being raided, here's a picture
of the Duchess defending it. This was at the Baker House Plantation
at Danville, MO. Bloody Bill Anderson was trying to torch the house
again like back in 1864.........
Even if she did have to use both hands to cock the gun.......
......the Duchess
helped
send him and his renegades on their way and also protected the "honor"
of a few......................These lovely ladies, mother and daughters
were out for a stroll and took refuge in the Parlor..........
And they were ready to shop, shop, shop after relieving some of the gentlemen
of their funds..........
We have a lot of fun at reenactments after the public leaves. It's
all the more reason for ladies to stay over nite at events. You just
miss too much when you trek back to the boarding houses. At Glassgow,
MO. the Duchess had to shoo the ladies out at 2:00 a.m. both Friday
and Saturday nites. Everyone was having so much fun visiting and
gossiping that they lost track of time. Don't miss out on the fun---check
the Events page for the closest Event that the Parlor will be at.
